  • Yes, absolutely. It is a requirement to work for Furkids Inc. to hold a current certification for pet CPR and Pet First Aid.

  • Fear Free is an organization founded and run by veterinarians committed to taking the pet OUT of petrified.

    Furkids Inc. staff are certified by Fear Free in reducing fear, anxiety and stress in dogs and cats and we take it very seriously. Everything we do is for the good of your furkid. Everything.

  • Nope. Where as we enjoy seeing our pawrents, you can be home or not!

  • Yes and you will meet them during the consultation visit. You’ll also meet your back up care taker, in case your primary person needs to take a day off. Relationships are important for you AND your furkid.

  • Yes, and we’ll do our best to honor those requests based on where you are located. Our program is designed to make a pawsitive impact no matter the time of the day. We’ll explain this in detail when we meet.

  • Yes, we do, whenever requested. We have an open book policy at Furkids Inc. We are happy to provide proof of all certifications, background checks, and insurance policies.

  • Absolutely! For our condo and apartment doggos, a safe, leashed, potty walk is included upon arrival and departure. For our house based doggos, potty time is included in the session. Litter boxes are cleaned every visit.

  • Absolutely! We can talk at length about how we approach medication administration in your Meet & Greet. As certified Fear Free professionals, we have special training in how to administer stress-LESS medication.

  • We will find the ones they DO like! This is a common occurrence. Dogs and cats have their own unique likes and dislikes, just like hoomans. It’s our job to determine the best enrichment for YOUR furkid and build off those traits to really help your furkid thrive.

  • No problem. Our focus is on your furkid. If we see you, we’ll say hi so as not to be rude but we will go about the job you hired us to do, help your furkid live their best life!

  • Yes! As a new client you’ll receive a log in for our Client Portal and instructions on downloading and logging into our app.

  • We accept debit cards, credit cards and ACH payments. We also accept Venmo and Zelle. We do not accept checks or cash for payment (You may leave cash as gratuity).

  • We are 100% dedicated to you and your furkid when you book a session with Furkids Inc. Because of this, we turn away other bookings during your scheduled times. So, if you need to cancel, we ask you notify Furkids Inc. LLC as soon as possible of the need to cancel services in order to be eligible for a refund.

    Cancellation requests must be submitted in advance via the Furkids Inc. app or portal, before the first scheduled visit according to the schedule below. Cancellations or modifications submitted after the service has begun will not be eligible for a refund.

    We do not waive cancellation fees for illness (including COVID-19), travel interruptions, trip changes or cancellations, or weather as we will still perform these services whenever possible, even if you are ill. In fact, it is a great time for your pet care provider to hold a session as it will alleviate care responsibilities from you. We are experts at leaving you undisturbed and performing our responsibilities, leaving you in peace.

    Our cancellation schedule is as follows:

    DAYCARE CANCELLATION POLICY

    We understand life can happen. Our Membership clients may cancel once per month with a full refund and no change to their Loyalty Reward pricing. Any additional cancellations will revert to the next loyalty reward pricing tier for that week. Example: You are a 5 Day a Week client and cancel 1 day, your membership pricing will revert to our 3 Day a Week tier.

    Single Daycare Non Holidays and Holidays

    48 hours or less notice: no refund

    49 hours to 72 hours: 50% refund

    72 hours or more: full refund

    Please note: We do not perform Daycare sessions on the following holidays. Pricing for Memberships will remain at the Loyalty Rewards pricing, as advertised for the remainder of the week’s sessions.

    Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.

    OVERNIGHT STAY CANCELLATION POLICY

    Non Holidays

    More than 2 weeks notice: full refund

    7-14 days notice: 75% refund

    4-6 days notice: 50% refund

    Less than 72 hours notice: no refund

    Holidays

    More than 1 Month notice: full refund

    29-15 days notice: 75% refund

    14-10 days notice: 50% refund

    Less than 10 days notice: no refund

    How Cancellations Are Calculated

    Please note that the cancellation fee applies to the entire invoice amount for the entire service, rather than just a portion of it. This means that if you cancel a longer reservation, such as a five-day overnight session, 48 hours before it begins, the cancellation fee will be calculated based on the entire invoice amount for the five-day overnight session, rather than just the first couple of days.

    Excessive Cancellations

    Furkids Inc. LLC reserves the right to cancel any recurring service schedule in the event of excessive cancellations and require the client to book “as needed” instead. Excessive cancellation is defined as cancellations equal to or greater than 15% of the scheduled services in a 30-day period, no matter how much advance notice is given.

    What If Furkids Inc. Cancels

    This would be a very rare occurrence as each client has a primary care giver and a secondary care giver, but we are in Florida and hurricanes are increasing and we all just got through a pandemic. Should Furkids Inc. cancel a session, full refunds will be provided no matter how short the notice.

  • We do not perform Adventure Care sessions on the following holidays. Pricing for Memberships will remain at the Loyalty Rewards pricing, as advertised for the remainder of the week’s sessions.

  • We do not offer overnight pet-sitting services in your home … yet! This service will be added soon and we encourage you contact us for more information and to check availability.

  • We service the following areas:

    South Tampa, Davis Islands, Harbour Island, Palma Ceia, Culbreath Isles, Sunset Park, Bayshore Beautiful, Hyde Park, Tampa Heights, Downtown Tampa, Channelside, and Seminole Heights.
